![]() The game is pretty much a shoot-and-scoot affair without much need to pause and think carefully about your shots. The game is good for a little bit of mindless fun ' the crazy ricochets and exploding zombies are entertaining ' but there's not a lot of challenge to setting up your shots. You can't control where the hero goes next, so missed zombies will remain missed and it could come back to haunt you when you reach the end of the level and your color count is too low. Maximizing the number of zombies killed with each shot is generally a good thing, especially if you can chain kills of the same color, but you'll need to keep an eye on your color count at the top of the screen to avoid missing the last zombie or two of one of the colors.Įach level is a few screens wide and after every shot fired your hero will advance to a new firing position. The game won't leave you guessing as to where the bullet will bounce off to the first time it hits a wall, or even the second, as the act of aiming will show a dotted line on the screen that will trace the path of your bullet when fired. The bad news is that you have limited ammunition, but the good news is that each round can ricochet through the level several times before disappearing, and that it will blow through any zombies along its path. Each level is filled with color-coded zombies, and you must kill the requisite number of each color in order to complete the level. That being said, let's take a look at a Stupid Zombies together for the first time.Ī look at some of the screens from the game might give you the impression that it's a shooter or action game, but it's really more of a trick shot puzzle game.
